There are seven main chakras that run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Each of these chakras holds different qualities of light and shadow energies. Understanding these vortices and how they influence our lives enable us to work with our energies on a deeper level and connect with our mind, body, and spirit.
This workshop will begin with a basic overview of the chakra system. Following this discussion will be a 45-minute yin yoga flow that allows us to experience the chakras within our own body. As we move through the movements that ignite each chakra, there will be an accompanying meditation, mantra/affirmation, and mudra to support the exploration of each energy center and the true essence of who we really are.
